Fairbanks-Based Expeditions

Overnight or Multi-Day Dogsled Expeditions:

Enjoying a dogsled ride in beautiful Interior Alaska!Alaskan Arctic Expeditions offers overnight and multi-day dogsled adventures based out of Fairbanks. In fact, you will depart from Joe's backyard and explore the extensive trail systems in the greater Fairbanks area.

Fairbanks-based expeditions are offered from mid-November through January. During these trips, you will have excellent opportunities to view the Northern Lights as well as the diversity of wildlife that inhabits the forests of Interior Alaska!

For your comfort and convenience, heated tents, snowshoes, and extreme weather gear (e.g., parkas, coveralls, mukluks, hooded neck warmers) are provided.

The number of days involved in a multi-day expedition depends on your preference and is therefore negotiated on a trip-by-trip basis. Please call or e-mail Joe to discuss the options!
